As the Manager of Knoxville’s BELFOR office over the last 14 years, Bryan understands how to lead a team and has years of experience making decisions on behalf of a group. BELFOR provides property restoration in the midst of disasters, the person on the other line has had a worst-case scenario occur at their location, uprooting their lives or ability to function as a business. As a manager, Bryan balances getting people’s lives back in order and managing his team's time and mental health every day.
Swimming was a large part of Bryan’s childhood and gave him the opportunity to attend the University of Tennessee on a scholarship. He was an All-American swimmer at UT and made the USA National Team. After graduating, he coached young swimmers with the goal of passing along the gifts and lessons swimming had given him. Bryan coached at Halls High School and Middle School for 8 years and was on the Board of the Swimming Coaches Association.
As the past President of the Knoxville Jewish Alliance, Bryan has experience in listening to and representing members of his community. After being on the board for years, Bryan eagerly took on the opportunity to lead the KJA from 2020 to 2024. He looks forward to continuing to serve the Jewish community through the National Young Leadership Cabinet, Advocacy Corps, and JFNA Board of Trustees. It will always be a passion of Bryan’s to represent the Knoxville Jewish community with faith and respect and to continue to build bridges within our community.
The most important and most rewarding role for Bryan is the role of husband to his incredible wife, Adriene & father to his two children, Chase and Charlize.
Bryan is a proud member of Leadership Knoxville’s 2022 class. He found hearing perspectives from people he wouldn’t have met otherwise to be both empowering and humbling. This year-long journey was when Bryan began seriously considering running for State House.
Bryan has gained valuable perspectives on how the FBI fights terrorism and crime through the FBI Citizens Academy. The vital roles that FBI Special Agents, analysts, and support employees play in protecting all of us are incredibly important. He is extremely proud to have been selected to attend and is committed to supporting the vital work law enforcement officers perform in our communities every day.
